Weigh-In Success!

I weighed in this morning and was down .5 lbs I honestly didnt think I was going to have a loss at all so I was pleasantly surprised

That brings my grand total now to 28.7 lbs and weighing in at 178.8

2006 total was 13.3 lbs + 2007 WL is at 15.4 lbs

Also another thing is since this will be the last WI that I wont have it just to see if beef really does make a difference. Chad and I gave up beef for lent and since Easter is Sunday Im craving a big ole burger but does beef really make a difference? I lost 9.7 lbs during Lent so yeah I think it does make a difference for sure but I do miss it

Congrats on the loss. It's always nice to see one no matter how small when you don't think you will have one. You just want to jump up and down, so horay for you!! :D

You know you can get the extra lean ground beef which is only something like 20 more calorie than ground turkey. Everyone once in a while I will use it, but I think my taste buds prefer the ground turkey now. It's amazing how things can change. Enjoy your burger!! :D

Congratulations on the weight loss!! Have you tried the Morningstar Griller Crumbles? They's the veggie substitute for ground beef, and it's a pretty good substitute! I can't do the ground turkey or chicken, somthing about the texture of it freaks me out LOL but the griller crumbles are really good. My kids can't tell the difference, and I even brought a huge crockpot of chili to work with me (exclusively griller crumbles) and got so many compliments (and I didn't tell them what it was made with! LOL)

Before I go, here's an Easter wish just for you!

This is how God showed
His love among us: He sent
His one and only son
into the world ...
I John 4:9

May He who makes
the flowers grow,
and gives the sun
its golden glow ...

who gently guides
the birds in flight,
and lights the stars
that cheer the night ...

May He whose love
shines over us all,
and gives us blessings
great and small ...

May Christ, the risen
King of Kings,
fill all your days with
lifes good things.

Bless you at Easter
and Always.

Aloha,
Michelle
